The American tournament organizer Beyond Summit, based in Los Angeles, announced that it will soon hold the seventh season of its cs_summit championship. On Saturday, the company published the first details about how the competition will take place. The main stage matches will take place from January 25 to January 31. Participants will compete for a total prize fund of $200,000.
Which teams will take part in the tournament is still unclear, but, according to the HLTV portal, we can say for sure that the matches will be held in Europe. However, this does not mean that American teams will be left out: it is known that FURIA, Liquid and Evil Geniuses were in any case planning to go to Europe in mid-January to perform at the BLAST Premier Global Finals.
The company held its first tournaments in its studio in Los Angeles, and they attracted the attention of players and spectators with their relaxed atmosphere. Last year, Beyond Summit organized the second RMR tournament, which took place in Europe and America with a prize fund of $200 thousand. Then the winners were BIG and Evil Geniuses in the European and North American divisions, respectively.
