Tournament organizer Relog Media has announced that it will hold a large-scale competition called LAN Sweet LAN in early 2022. They should take place in Belgrade, where the company's headquarters are located. The prize fund will be $250,000. Qualification for teams to advance to this final stage will be done through monthly tournaments. In the first months of 2021, FunPlus Phoenix, HAVU and mousesports have already secured their places in the Masters stage. Nine more teams will be determined by the end of the year, and the last four participants will receive direct invitations. In this way, a tournament bracket of sixteen teams will be formed, which will compete for the main prize.
Relog Media's headquarters in Belgrade has already been used several times by various teams to host bootcamps in 2020, when much of the activity moved online. The tournament is expected to be the largest LAN event for Relog of all time and will mark a return to the usual competition format, which teams and organizers had to abandon for more than a year due to the usual restrictions. Relog initially wanted to call the tournament Home Sweet Home Masters, but then changed the name to LAN Sweet LAN to emphasize the importance placed on the format of the event.
