Portuguese eSports player Nuno “BhT-” Silva published a leak on his Twitter, according to which new game modes may appear in CS:GO in the near future. Previously, this assumption was already made by data miners who discovered new files after one of the updates released in the summer. It is expected that the new modes will include “retake”, “robbery” and “robbery”. (reminiscent of Payday) and the ability to play with a smaller number of players (one-on-one and two-on-two).
In addition, several maps will receive updates. These will probably be Office, Mirage and Tuscan. Rumors that the last of the mentioned maps will return to CS: GO already arose several months ago.
The Counter Strike: Global Offensive community is expecting other major updates. It is possible that a new operation will begin soon – the previous one, called “The Shattered Web,” was released in November 2019, so there is every reason to expect the next one next month.
Valve has not yet confirmed or denied any of these assumptions. However, many fans of the game hope that they will turn out to be true – In recent months, the number of players in CS:GO has decreased slightly, and updates could attract a large number of new users.
