The Perfect World company spoke about how the RMR tournament, which it will organize this summer, will take place. The competition, called the Perfect World Asia League, will be held from June 24 to July 19. Ten teams will take part in them, which will first meet in a round-robin tournament, where the winner will be determined by the results of three matches. The eight leaders will advance to the playoffs, where prize money totaling $100,000 will be awarded. The winner will receive $25,000 and 2000 points.
Eight participants are already known – these are teams that have previously played in a previous regional ranking tournament held by ESL. The remaining two participants will be determined based on the results of the qualifying games, registration for which is already open. One of the places is intended for a team from China, and the other – for a representative of any of the remaining Asian countries. Among the teams that have already been invited to the tournament – representatives of China, Mongolia and Thailand, in particular, TIGER, Beyond, TYLOO, Lucid Dream and others.
In addition, Perfect World, which has been the official distributor of CS: GO in China since 2017, will become the organizer of autumn RMR tournaments in Asia and Oceania.
