On July 13, Valve released another update to Counter Strike: Global Offensive. The main innovation in it was bug fixes on the Ember and Hive maps. In addition, several other bugs that players may have encountered have been fixed.
The changes to Hive affected several gameplay aspects. In particular, the models of handrails have been adjusted, since previously players hiding behind them had the opportunity to exchange fire without appearing due to the obstacle. The lighting in the central part of the map has changed, and the sound of the train whistle has been removed from the bomb installation point.
There are noticeably more changes on Ember. In particular, the rules for where weapons can and cannot appear have changed: this no longer happens near the tunnel near the observatory, while in the dock building, industrial zone and hospital, their spawning has become possible. In addition, players now have the opportunity to climb onto the roof of the docks. Errors when using ping tags were also fixed and several other minor fixes were made.
The developers also updated the version of the R8 Revolver skin | Crazy 8, which is used if the settings are set to a low level of violence, and fixed a bug due to which in some cases the weapon of the player who killed the enemy was not displayed.
