Instead of Sanzhar "SANJI" Kuliyev will be joined by Evgeniy “FL1T” Lebedev, a former forZe player. Assumptions that Sanzhar could be put into inactivity have been made more than once, since the player has recently shown not very impressive results.
The head of Virtus.pro Sergei Glamazda noted that no decision has been made on what the roster will be in the long term. So far, the lineup changes made ahead of the major remain temporary. They are aimed at achieving the best result in a particular tournament, and for this the team needs a new impetus. According to Glamazda, the organization took advantage of the fortunate opportunity to invite FL1T to the lineup.
Because teams changing rosters lose ranking points, Virtus.pro ended up falling below Entropiq in the tournament bracket, and the teams swapped places in the opening matches. Now Entropiq will have to play with BIG, and Virtus.pro with paiN. At the same time, Virtus.pro still begins participation at the Challenger stage due to the place the team took in the overall ranking.
