After an impressive victory at the Rio Major, Virtus.pro (Outsiders) became the fourth team to qualify for the BLAST Premier World Final. Now they will have to take part in the confrontation between eight strongest teams, which will take place from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi.
Previously, three more participants in the BLAST Premier World Final have already been determined. These are Natus Vincere, FaZe and Vitality, each of which scored victories in major tournaments during the year. Thus, four more participants should be determined in the near future. The final list will become clear after the completion of the BLAST Fall Final tournament in Copenhagen, which will be held at the end of November. Its winner will become the fifth participant in the BLAST Premier World Final.
Three more places will be distributed among the teams that take the highest places in the BLAST ranking. It takes into account the successes of teams at major events throughout the year, and now teams such as G2, OG or Heroic. Ninjas in Pajamas and Liquid can also claim a place in the final tournament of the year, but they will need to place high at the BLAST Fall Final to get enough points. ENCE also retains its chances of being included in the final list; but this will require a favorable combination of circumstances.
