Stickers – Just as popular a collectible as gun skins. Stickers can significantly affect the cost of a skin and give it an unusual or funny look. In a recent update, the developers not only added a new capsule, but also improved the interface for using stickers. Here are the changes that have been made.
Updates stickers
In addition to adding a new capsule, the update description mentioned several other important points regarding stickers:
You can now add up to five stickers to one item instead of four.
The places for placing them are not fixed, and they can be selected arbitrarily.
Stickers can be rotated under different corners.
To more accurately choose where to attach the sticker, you can zoom in.
Even when there were only four possible options for placing stickers for each skin, players managed to find interesting combinations, for example, replacing the weasel's head with Glock-18 Weasel a sticker with some monster. Now there will be even more opportunities for such experiments. Combine a funny inscription from several stickers, use them to tell a whole story, or simply update the design of your AK-47 Slate – the number of options is practically unlimited.
Old skins with stickers with this remains unchanged. In some cases, they may even look better due to the fact that the stickers are now slightly different sizes. It is possible that in the future Valve will finalize the interface for adding stickers and make some other improvements to it.
Stickers from the new capsule
The capsule, which was called Ambush, included a total of two dozen stickers. Three of them fall into the “Extraordinary” category. The most impressive of them – Dystopian Gaze with lenticular effect. The sticker depicts an eye, painted in neon colors, with an iris that resembles a lens.
The Old School sticker, in full accordance with its name, looks quite simple. The image of an old-fashioned monitor may well appeal to those who have retained their passion for CS2 from previous versions. Finally, the third of the “Extraordinary” stickers called Econometer reminds of the tension growing with each round.
As for the “Exotic” stickers with a foil effect, there are four of them in the capsule, and each is interesting in its own way. For example, Ouchie in the form of a strip of plaster will look good on skins that depict well-worn weapons, and Lost in Smoke may appeal to those who value a well-aimed grenade throw.
Among the other stickers from Ambush Capsule, Loving Eyes and Lotus attracted the most interest from players, judging by the prices. It's not surprising, because they will look great on skins painted in a variety of styles.
