Chinese e-sportsman Peng "xiaosaGe" Sun announced his retirement. The player is now 31 years old, and he explained his decision by “age and health problems.” Before that, he played for a team from China called Invictus. The player last appeared in January at the Hot Pot Masters Championship – LAN tournament, which took place in China at the beginning of 2021. Then Invictus took first place, defeating TYLOO in the grand final with a score of 2: 1.
For most of his career, xiosaGe competed in Chinese and Asian championships, and first appeared on the international stage in 2017 at the ROG Masters Grand Finals as part of the Chinese-Mongolian team 5POWER. The following year, the team competed more than once in competitions outside its region and rose to 47th place in the world rankings. In April 2020, xiaosaGe transferred to Invictus and has been competing for the group for the past 11 months. They achieved several major successes, finishing second at PAL Summer and fourth at PAL Fall.
In his closing statement, Peng Song noted that he has made many friends since 2017, and esports has given him many happy memories. He also thanked everyone who helped him in his career and wished his teammates to achieve ever better results.
