Youth team Young Ninjas became the winner of the WePlay Academy League Season 6 tournament, defeating Spirit Academy on three maps in the finals. Before this, Spirit Academy performed very successfully at the tournament: it became the leader of Group B, and then went through the playoffs without a single defeat, and in one of the upper bracket matches it defeated Young Ninjas with a score of 2 – 0. As a result, the Swedish team fell into the lower bracket of the tournament, but was able to reach the grand final and take revenge.
YoungNinjas chose Dust2 as the first map, but it was on this map that they lost to their opponents. At the start of the match, Spirit Academy took nine rounds in a row, and the Swedish team was unable to make up this gap: the map remained with Spirit Academy with a score of 16 – 7. At Vertigo, the situation initially developed in a similar way. Even though YoungNinjas had a narrow lead early on, Spirit was able to win eight rounds in the first half of the draw. However, after switching sides, the Swedes managed to change the balance of forces, and they retained the map with a slight advantage. The outcome of the match was decided on Nuke, where YoungNinjas' advantage turned out to be even more significant (8 - 16).
