NIP has announced major changes to its youth roster. It has become known that Young Ninjas will leave Kalle “Ro1f” Johansson and Adrian "7EMPORARY" Mehrar, and head coach Fredrik “slap” Unbrandt will move on to “a new exciting project.”
Both Ro1f and slap stayed in YoungNinjas for just under a year. During this time, Ro1f demonstrated an average rating of 0.95, having performed in four seasons of WePlay Academy, as well as in a number of less significant tournaments. The youth roster showed its best results in the first two seasons of WePlay Academy, where they managed to take second and third place, respectively, but they were unable to repeat this success in the future.
Changes in the lineup that occurred in April of this year did not improve the situation much. Fifteen-year-old sniper 7EMPORARY showed a rating of less than one in all three events in which he participated. The remaining two players who joined Young Ninjas in April (Max "maxter" Jansson and Adam "adamb" Ångström) managed to show better results and remain in the team for now.
Now the management of Young Ninjas will have to form a new lineup, as well as find a new coach to lead the project. In a recent tweet, the organization explained that it is “in the process of signing contracts with young players who will join the team,” so news about roster updates should be expected in the near future.
