Alexander «zoneR» Bogatyrev returned to the “Hard Legion” team as head coach after leaving two months ago. Back in 2018, zoneR, together with another player named Svyatoslav “svyat” Dovbakh participated in the creation of the roster that reached the group stage of the StarLadder Major. Later, when the players moved to the HardLegion team, which was organized by Alexey “HARDPLAY” Baranov, zoneR reunited with his former teammates and took the position of coach in October 2019.
The departure of Alexander Bogatyrev from this position was due to the not very good results that Hard Legion had shown recently. In particular, she took last place on WePlay! Clutch Island. In addition, this week the team fell out of the top 30 and now occupies only 36th position in the ranking. However, it seems that for some time the team management decided to turn a blind eye to the conflict with zoneR and the disagreements that he had with Alexey Baranov.
At the same time, zoneR noted that he does not consider working with HardLegion as a long-term prospect. He will be a coach only until the beginning of 2021, and after that his place will be taken by Eric Akimov, who now serves as the second coach.
