At the end of the week, several sources shared information with the HLTV portal that Danny “zonic” Sorensen, who serves as Astralis' lead coach, could leave the organization in a few months after his contract expires. One of the sources mentioned that there has been a lot of disagreement between zonic and the rest of the members lately, and the coach is largely disappointed with the direction the team is heading in now.
The contracts of four Astralis players expire at the end of the year, and if the leadership of the esports organization fails to agree with them on continued cooperation, they will be able to move to another team from January 1 next year. Another participant, Lukas "Bubzkji" Andersen will remain with the team for a longer period, as he signed a two-year contract with Astralis in July 2020.
In addition, the same sources reported that Astralis are already planning changes in the lineup for next year, and the list of the most likely candidates for the post of head coach is headed by Nikolai “HUNDEN” Petersen. Since April 2020, the latter collaborated with Heroic, but between September 2020 and April 2021 he was suspended for using a coaching bug.
