★ Karambit | Crimson Web (Field-Tested)

The ★ Karambit | Crimson Web in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 karambit with a red blade over which a dark web spreads. A Covert knife with the ★ mark, it drops from eleven cases, among them the CS:GO Weapon Case, the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case and the Revolver Case. The wears are represented in full, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, and the float runs from 0.06 to 0.80. Field-Tested covers 0.15 to 0.38 of that.

What the ★ Karambit | Crimson Web looks like in Field-Tested

The blade is sickle-shaped and red, with thin dark threads of the web, and the lacquer is lighter right at the edge. The handle is black-gray with deep finger grooves, and only the finger ring is painted red. By Valve's description, a hydrographic film with the web covers the red base, and a semi-gloss lacquer goes on top.

In Field-Tested the wear marks gather on the inner curve of the edge and on the red ring. The copy stays as it dropped, and the 0.15 to 0.38 band is long enough for listings from its edges to look different.

Phase and pattern

On Crimson Web the variance is confirmed: the pattern index moves the web along the blade and changes the number of centers from which the threads radiate. Copies with one or two centers are counted as ordinary. Three or more is the rarest and priciest group. The title of a listing does not state the number of centers, and the finish has no phases of the Doppler kind, so you look at the picture.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Karambit | Crimson Web, check a few points:

• the web centers in the listing picture: their number changes the price of the copy within one wear;

• ★ Karambit | Crimson Web listings inside 0.15 to 0.38 differ noticeably in look;

• the name on the handle: a name tag goes on the karambit, but the knife has no stickers;

• StatTrak: a karambit with a counter is recorded in the catalog as a separate item.

What the ★ Karambit | Crimson Web costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 9.74 times as much, and its 0.06 to 0.07 band is the shortest of the finish. Minimal Wear costs 1.61 times as much. Well-Worn is 1.1 times cheaper and Battle-Scarred 1.16 times.

Among the Covert karambit finishes in Field-Tested, Crimson Web is in the upper third of a lineup of eighteen. Five are dearer: Case Hardened, Black Laminate, Blue Steel, Autotronic and Slaughter. Lore, Damascus Steel and Stained follow, and the cheapest finishes of the lineup are Boreal Forest, Safari Mesh and Forest DDPAT.

Getting the ★ Karambit | Crimson Web

The ★ Karambit | Crimson Web drops from eleven cases, beginning with the CS:GO Weapon Case, and the wear and the number of web centers fall at random. A contract cannot order the web: five Covert skins of one collection give a rare special item with a random model and a random finish. A karambit with the web you want is easier to take as a listing.

Is there a StatTrak version
