Light gray and almost white, the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 kukri in a single tone. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. It drops from the Kilowatt Case and from the Gallery Case. The finish comes in five wears, its float scale runs from 0.06 to 0.80, and Field-Tested occupies the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38.
What the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked looks like in Field-Tested
Blade and handle are held in a single tone: light gray, whitish in places, with blurred cloud-like patches. Valve's note says the pattern was sprayed on through a stencil made of tangled masking tape. Notches and a round hole are cut near the base of the blade, and the handle is ribbed, with stops for the fingers.
By Field-Tested the wear marks are already there: they settle on the tip, on the edge and on the raised ribs of the handle. Wear is fixed at the drop, which is why a copy with a float around 0.15 stays cleaner than one around 0.38.
Where the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked came from
The kukri appeared in February 2024. Valve presented the knife in the update notes together with the Kilowatt Case and called it a rare special item. The Gallery Case, the second case with this finish, came out on October 2, 2024.
What to check before buying
Before buying the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked, run through a few items:
- the wear in the listing title: Field-Tested is a separate item, and the neighboring wears are priced differently;
- the applied name: a name tag on the handle is allowed and stays after the sale, but the knife takes no stickers;
- the version: a StatTrak knife is priced on its own.
The design is hard-wired and identical across copies. Copies nearer 0.15 are cleaner, so the 0.15 to 0.38 band still gives you something to choose between.
What the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked costs in Field-Tested
Of the finish's five wears, Field-Tested is the one with the lowest price. Factory New costs 3.5 times as much: the scale starts at 0.06, so the top wear gets only the 0.06 to 0.07 stretch. Minimal Wear costs 1.5 times as much, Battle-Scarred a fifth more and Well-Worn a seventh more.
Among Covert kukri finishes at this wear, Urban Masked sits in the lower half of the row: six finishes cost more and four cost less. Scorched is level with it. Forest DDPAT, Boreal Forest and Safari Mesh are cheaper by 6, 9 and 12 percent.
Higher up come Night Stripe at a seventh more, Stained at 29 percent more and Blue Steel at 1.6 times. Crimson Web costs almost twice as much, Case Hardened a little over twice as much, and Slaughter 2.7 times.
Getting the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked
Two cases carry this kukri, the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case, and each opening assigns the wear at random. Crafting is the second route: five Covert skins from one collection can be turned into a rare special item, but neither the model nor the finish is yours to pick. If you want one particular copy, look through the listings.
Is there a StatTrak version
Yes, a StatTrak version of the ★ Kukri Knife | Urban Masked exists in the game.
