★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web (Factory New)

This is the ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web in Factory New (FN). A second factor joins the float here: how the web is laid out on the back of the hand. Extraordinary rank, with the star. The pair drops from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case as a rare special item. Nothing cleaner than 0.06 exists, the scale being cut off below.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web look like in Factory New

The back is an acid green sheathed in cracked leather, dark veins forming a net that reads either as a web or as crazing in lacquer. The green field runs from cuff to knuckles, the cuff a lighter lime. Black glossy pads lie over the field: a large one at the knuckles, separate segments on the fingers. Light metal rivets glint at the finger bases, and TORQUE is stamped into the pad. The palm is dark throughout, gray-black, with almost no green.

This condition runs from 0.06 to 0.07. Factory New holds the green field at full strength, the veins legible across the whole back. In Minimal Wear (MW) the green dulls at the knuckles and along the cuff edge. The veins silt up with gray there, and the ribs of the black pads begin to shine.

Where the ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web came from

The Glove Case arrived on November 28, 2016, and the finish entered the game with it; the Operation Hydra Case became a second source later. Valve's description states outright that a spiderweb pattern is applied to the back of the hand, adding a brief "discipline breeds success". On July 17, 2023, an update note brought glove patterns and wear back toward their CS:GO look.

Phase and pattern

Gloves have no phases and no gems, but the pattern index works large here: it shifts the texture over the top side of the pair, in full view. The dearest copies have the center of the web in the middle of both gloves; centered on the right glove alone is valued too. For gloves this is the unusual case where the listing's number is worth reading before the float.

What to check before buying

What to compare when choosing a pair:

• where the center of the web landed: mid-glove on both, on the right one only, or off at the edge;

• Between 0.06 and 0.07 there is no better copy to find;

• the cuff edge and the knuckles, where the green settles earlier than elsewhere.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web cost in Factory New

Of the eighteen starred Specialist Gloves finishes this one is third by price. Pillow Punchers and Crimson Kimono stand above it, while Lime Polycam, Foundation, Big Swell and Cloud Chaser behind it trail threefold.

By condition: Minimal Wear is three and a half times cheaper, Field-Tested four, Well-Worn eight, Battle-Scarred fifteen.

Getting the ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web

Two cases carry the finish, and in both the pair sits in the rare special item slot. Neither the condition nor the web layout is chosen on opening. A contract offers the same: five Covert skins of one collection become a random knife or glove pair. A particular center and a clean float come from a finished listing.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web have neither a StatTrak version nor a Souvenir edition.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web here makes sense in three cases:

• an acid-green accent is wanted for CS2 that wear has not muted;

• the net of veins has to stay crisp, where Field-Tested has it silted with gray;

• the right web layout is found and should not be lost under gray film.
