In Battle-Scarred (BS) the AK-47 | Fuel Injector is as worn as a glossy, car-styled orange rifle gets. It is a Covert skin that drops from the Operation Wildfire Case.

What the AK-47 | Fuel Injector looks like in Battle-Scarred

The main color is a saturated orange-amber gloss on the receiver, handguard, grip and the front of the magazine. The stock is dark gray, almost black, and the magazine is black with gray ribbing like a tire tread. The gas tube and the top of the barrel are lighter, gray-blue, with white lettering. On the side of the receiver, red-and-white graphics run in several lines.

In Battle-Scarred the wear is visible at once. The edges of the orange panels turn pale first, and the small lettering on the gas tube is wiped away almost completely. The flat planes of the sides and the large logo last longer, so the overall look stays recognizable. The 0.45 to 1.00 band on the AK-47 | Fuel Injector is wide: one wear label, very different condition.

Where the AK-47 | Fuel Injector came from

The artist emu made the finish and sent it to the Steam Workshop on November 15, 2015, under the title "AK47 | Supercharged". The author later added notes to the submission about normal maps and texture compression, so the finish was still being refined after it came out. The AK-47 | Fuel Injector appeared on February 17, 2016, when the Wildfire Collection was added to the game. Valve's catalog number for the skin is 524.
