Factory New (FN) is the main wear of the AWP | Graphite: the wear scale ends at 0.12, so besides FN this AWP has only Minimal Wear. The wear band is 0.00 to 0.07. It is Classified rank, and the skin drops from the Operation Bravo Case.
What the AWP | Graphite looks like in Factory New
This is black on black, and for a buyer that is the main fact about the finish. It has no colored elements at all, and the barrel, optic and bipod are nearly the same tone as the paint on the body.
The side of the receiver, the stock, the grip and the area around the magazine are painted. The artwork reads only as slightly lighter dark-gray facets: angular diamonds run in a continuous field, with no main figure in it. There is no lettering, numbers or logos on the body either. Valve describes the method outright: metallic paints of differing reflectivity over a chrome underlayer, so some facets are matte and some catch a glint.
In Factory New the facets are intact along the whole length of the rifle, and the shine is even. Wear on a finish like this shows as light scratches along the protruding ridges: the corners of the stock, the edge of the cheek, the crests of the facets themselves. The contrast is low, and scuffs are less visible here than on colored skins, but in this wear there are none even on the ridges.
Where the AWP | Graphite came from
The finish has no author in the usual sense: the AWP | Graphite was drawn by Valve itself, and no Steam Workshop submission stands behind it. Its finish number in the Valve catalog is 212, one of the earliest in the game. The Bravo Collection came out on September 19, 2013.
Operation Bravo lasted less than five months. In a note dated December 19, 2013, Valve restricted official matchmaking on the new maps Cobblestone and Overpass to Operation Bravo participants. On February 6, 2014 the operation was closed. In Valve's description the skin is called a souvenir from the map Agency; the map itself returned to CS2 in May 2025, this time as a community map.
What to check before buying
The differences between AWP | Graphite listings come down to these:
- the float: in this wear it decides whether even one light spot appears on the ridges;
- the evenness of the shine on the side of the receiver, where matte and glossy facets show up on inspection;
- stickers on the body of the AWP | Graphite and a rename, if there is one.
The pattern on the AWP | Graphite shifts slightly from copy to copy, but on a black field with no colored accents the difference barely reads.
The 0.00 to 0.07 band of the AWP | Graphite is tight, and the extreme listings differ only by the number.
What the AWP | Graphite costs in Factory New
The finish has one neighboring wear: Minimal Wear costs about a twentieth more than FN, even though it looks worse. Its band is short, from 0.07 to the top of the scale at 0.12. This rifle has no lower wears at all: no Field-Tested, no Well-Worn and no Battle-Scarred.
Among Classified AWPs, the AWP | Graphite in this wear is fourth from the top out of thirteen. The AWP | Corticera costs slightly more. The AWP | Electric Hive and the AWP | Elite Build are noticeably cheaper, and the AWP | The End almost three times cheaper. Only the AWP | BOOM and the AWP | Silk Tiger stand above it.
Getting the AWP | Graphite
The finish drops from the Operation Bravo Case, and no other cases contain it. You can build the AWP | Graphite instead of buying it: a trade-up takes ten skins one rank below, all from this set.
The AWP | Graphite itself also goes into trade-ups: from the Classified skins of Bravo, the AK-47 | Fire Serpent and the Desert Eagle | Golden Koi are built.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the AWP | Graphite
The AWP | Graphite has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were ever made for this finish, because packages only ever covered tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built by hand. The Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a normal skin from the inventory. That is why the odd souvenir copy turns up where no package was ever made.
An almost monochrome body is a convenient base for a craft: any color reads on it except black and dark gray. The facets are low in contrast, so a sticker does not fight the artwork wherever it goes. There are flat areas on the stock and on the side of the receiver. Tournament stickers from the same years suit a 2013 finish.
Who this wear suits
Buying the AWP | Graphite in Factory New makes sense in three cases:
- you want a dark AWP with no color that will fit any CS2 set;
- you want a clean float for the minimum: in CS2 this finish's FN costs less than its MW;
- you're preparing a craft, and an even background matters more than bright artwork.
The finish was made by 2013 standards: no graphics and no color, with the whole effect resting on facets and reflection.
