The AWP | Green Energy in Factory New (FN) is an emerald AWP with metallic flake, its paint not yet touched by wear. It is Classified, from The Boreal Collection, which holds just one Classified skin. The finish can be bought in all five wears for CS2.
What the AWP | Green Energy looks like in Factory New
The barrel, scope body, stock and grip are covered in dark green paint. The main color is gathered on the side of the receiver: a turquoise gradient passes into a bright emerald, with splashes edged in white laid over it. A thin pale line crosses the side, and in Valve's description it is a yellow stripe.
This wear of the AWP | Green Energy is assigned the float band 0.00 to 0.07. The skin's own ceiling is 0.75, so those 0.07 make up 9% of its scale. Wear is fixed at the drop, and a copy does not change with time.
Where the AWP | Green Energy came from
The AWP | Green Energy was painted by Valve, and no Workshop entry on Steam exists for this finish. The skin appeared on March 31, 2025, when the Boreal collection was added to the game. The finish's number in Valve's catalog is 1280.
What to check before buying
Which AWP | Green Energy to take hinges on these points:
- the float: for Factory New it runs from 0.00 to 0.07, and the bottom edge differs from the top only barely;
- any name tag and stickers this AWP | Green Energy already wears;
- the shine of the metallic flake on the side of the receiver, which is intact in Factory New.
The artwork of the AWP | Green Energy is fixed and does not depend on the copy. The 0.00 to 0.07 band is so short that no float is worth chasing.
What the AWP | Green Energy costs in Factory New
This is the top wear, and the others are cheaper:
- Minimal Wear is a little over two times cheaper;
- Field-Tested is 4.5 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn costs almost the same as Field-Tested;
- Battle-Scarred is about ten times cheaper.
Among Classified AWPs in Factory New, the skin stands in the lower half of the row. AWP | Ice Coaled is slightly cheaper; AWP | Fever Dream, AWP | Mortis and AWP | Duality are cheaper by more; AWP | The End costs one and a half times as much. The top of the row, AWP | Silk Tiger, is more than ten times dearer.
Getting the AWP | Green Energy
No CS2 case contains the AWP | Green Energy. The Boreal Collection is on the weekly reward list, and the skin reaches the inventory from there.
The second road to the AWP | Green Energy is a trade-up of ten skins of the rank below from the same collection. Only Glock-18 | Glockingbird and M4A4 | Sheet Lightning qualify. The collection has a single Classified skin, so the contract yields exactly this one.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AWP | Green Energy has never been released with StatTrak. Souvenir copies are out there, but this finish had no packages of its own: those were issued only for tournament map collections. Such a copy is made with the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular inventory skin.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | Green Energy
The dark green stock and barrel leave a quiet field, while the side is taken up by bright artwork. White and black stickers show best, yellow ones echo the line, and green ones merge with the paint. In Factory New the clean paint makes an expensive craft easier to justify than on the lower wears.
Who this wear suits
The AWP | Green Energy in Factory New makes sense in three cases:
- you want an AWP for CS2 whose metallic flake on the side shows whole, without scuffs;
- you are building a craft with expensive stickers on a clean base;
- paying double the Minimal Wear price for untouched paint suits you.
