The AWP | LongDog in Field-Tested (FT) sits in the middle of the scale, where the white paint still holds and the first scuffs already show on the barrel. The float runs from 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Covert skin, available to both sides, from the Train 2025 Collection.
What the AWP | LongDog looks like in Field-Tested
The rifle looks almost entirely white with a creamy tone, and black and gray dots lie across it like spatter. The scope is black, and dark metal can be glimpsed under the white on the barrel.
The red is sparse and confined to small parts. They are the muzzle ring, the front scope ring, the bipod ends, the bottom of the magazine well, the edge of the butt pad and the cheek rest. On the side of the stock sits a red scrawl that looks like a stretched-out creature. The drawing does not say which animal the author had in mind, and there are no other words or numbers on the weapon.
In Field-Tested the red trim and the edges of the white on the barrel have already been touched. Against light paint, a scuff contrasts with the dark metal and shows from far off. The figure on the stock lies on a flat surface, where there is less wear.
Where the AWP | LongDog came from
Valve made the AWP | LongDog in-house, and there is no Steam Workshop entry for the finish. The work nods to the LongDog graffiti on the Train map and carries a line about the best dog in the world, waiting at home. The skin reached the game on March 31, 2025.
What to check before buying
Before paying, these are the things to look at on the AWP | LongDog:
- the float, which runs from 0.15 to 0.38 in this wear and takes in both nearly clean bodies and clearly worn ones;
- the red trim on the bipod, the muzzle ring and the butt pad;
- any stickers and name tag already on this copy of the AWP | LongDog.
The artwork on the AWP | LongDog does not vary, so pattern plays no part in the choice.
What the AWP | LongDog costs in Field-Tested
Measured against Field-Tested, the other wears stand like this:
- Factory New brings a 7.5-fold premium;
- Minimal Wear is dearer by more than double;
- Well-Worn costs about a third less;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by a factor of about 1.6.
Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit close together, while the step up is substantial and grows toward the clean wears.
Among the nineteen Covert AWPs, this skin sits above seven and below eleven. AWP | Containment Breach costs almost the same, and AWP | Queen's Gambit is a tenth cheaper. AWP | Printstream and AWP | Wildfire are a quarter cheaper or more. At the top of the row, AWP | Medusa costs more than thirty times as much, and AWP | Dragon Lore more than a hundred times.
Getting the AWP | LongDog
The AWP | LongDog does not drop from a regular case. Copies sit in the Train 2025 souvenir packages from the Austin and Budapest tournaments. In a trade-up contract, ten skins of the rank below, taken from this collection, turn into the AWP | LongDog.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AWP | LongDog has no StatTrak version, while a Souvenir version exists and comes from the Train 2025 tournament packages.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | LongDog
The white field takes dark and bright stickers and swallows white and cream ones. Red stickers extend the red trim on the raised parts. The side of the receiver offers a flat spot for a CS2 craft, while the red figure on the stock is left open.
Who this wear suits
Buying the AWP | LongDog in Field-Tested is justified in these cases:
- you want a Covert AWP for CS2 without the extra charge for Factory New, which costs seven and a half times as much;
- visible scuffing on the barrel and the trim is acceptable;
- you plan to pick the listing by its float number rather than by the wear label.
Closer to 0.15, the white on the barrel holds up noticeably better than it does at 0.38.
