Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Battle-Scarred)

The Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the most worn and cheapest wear of the skin: an orange Classified Desert Eagle with a fox on the slide. The float band runs from 0.45 to 0.80, where the skin's ceiling is cut off. There is no regular case: the skin belongs to The 2021 Mirage Collection, and both sides can use it.

What the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox looks like in Battle-Scarred

The base is copper-orange, shading into terracotta in places. A fennec in olive-gray and brown tones, outlined in turquoise, runs across the barrel and slide. The grip is ruled with turquoise and orange patterns, like growth rings. That is exactly what Valve describes: a fox on the barrel and turquoise-and-orange patterns on the grip.

In Battle-Scarred the wear takes up 44% of the skin's scale, and copies from the two ends of the band look noticeably different. How worn a copy is gets recorded in its float at drop, and after that the listing does not change.

What to check before buying

Across listings of the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox, compare the following:

• float: between 0.45 and 0.80 there is enough difference to justify comparing several listings;

• how well the fox on the slide reads;

• the stickers and name tag already sitting on this gun.

Picking by pattern is not an option here, since it is the same on every listing.

What the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox costs in Battle-Scarred

The skin's other wears cost more:

• Factory New, about 1.8 times as much;

• Minimal Wear, about a fifth more;

• Well-Worn, about a seventh more;

• Field-Tested, a few percent more.

Among Classified Desert Eagles in this wear, the skin costs the most. The nearest one in price is more than six times cheaper, Kumicho Dragon more than ten times and Eastern Enigma fourteen times. Mecha Industries and Heat Treated belong to a different price class altogether.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox

The Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox does not drop from regular cases. Souvenir copies sit in eight Mirage packages, from Stockholm 2021 to Budapest 2025. In between came Antwerp 2022, Rio 2022, Paris 2023, Copenhagen 2024, Shanghai 2024 and Austin 2025.

Besides the souvenir packages, the skin comes from trading up ten skins one step down from the same set. The collection holds two Classified skins, so the odds are one in two. The skin itself also goes into a contract for the Covert AWP | Desert Hydra.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The game has no StatTrak version of the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox, but a souvenir version exists.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox

The orange base and turquoise inserts set a warm palette: cool blue and white stickers stand out against it, while copper and orange ones dissolve. The grip is already busy with pattern, so in a CS2 craft the stickers go nearer the barrel and leave the fox uncovered.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox in this wear is the right call if one of these applies:

• you want a Classified Desert Eagle for CS2 at the lowest price among the skin's wears;

• Factory New costs almost twice as much, and its extra paint on the slide is not needed;

• any float from the long band works for you, provided the number is checked on the listing.
