The Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle in Field-Tested (FT) is a Mil-Spec pistol with a grayscale pattern, from The Achroma Collection. The finish's scale is cut off at 0.58, and the band here, 0.15 to 0.38, takes up about two fifths of it. The skin has no case.
What the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle looks like in Field-Tested
Valve describes the finish in a single phrase: a grayscale pattern applied to the pistol. The caption under the name reads "From the pages of your favorite graphic novel".
The float band for this wear of the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle lies between 0.15 and 0.38. Here the float number matters more than the wear label: the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38 holds different looks, and wear is set at the drop and never changes afterward.
Where the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle came from
The skin appeared on January 21, 2026, when The Achroma Collection was added to the game. In its update note Valve named that collection and The Harlequin Collection as the two new ones added to the Weekly Care Package reward list.
The Achroma Collection has four Mil-Spec skins: besides this one, AUG | Creep, P2000 | Grip Tape and P90 | Aeolian Light.
What to check before buying
These are the parameters to check on a Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle listing:
- the float value: across 0.15 to 0.38, copies near either end differ in wear;
- the name tag and stickers this Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle already carries.
Every copy shows the same pattern.
What the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle costs in Field-Tested
The neighboring wears line up against Field-Tested like this:
- Factory New asks about four times the price;
- Minimal Wear costs about twice as much;
- Well-Worn costs slightly more;
- Battle-Scarred costs the same.
Among the eleven Mil-Spec Desert Eagles in this wear, the finish stands at the very bottom of the row. Desert Eagle | Mint Fan and Desert Eagle | Urban Rubble sit next to it, with Bronze Deco and Oxide Blaze above. The top of the row belongs to Meteorite, Sputnik and Night Heist.
Getting the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle
No CS2 case contains this skin. The Achroma Collection is on the Weekly Care Package reward list. The second road to the skin is a trade-up contract.
The alternative to buying is a trade-up: ten skins of the rank below from the same set give the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle. There are five Industrial Grade finishes of that kind: FAMAS | Vendetta, M4A4 | Aeolian Dark, MAC-10 | Snow Splash, MP5-SD | Snow Splash and R8 Revolver | Dark Chamber. With four Mil-Spec skins in the collection, the chance of the pistol is one in four.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle
No StatTrak™ version of the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle was ever released. There were no Souvenir packages for this finish either: they were made only for the map collections of tournaments. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself. The Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why single Souvenir copies occasionally turn up even where packages never existed.
The base is gray, so colorful stickers stand out on it the most, while gray and black-and-white ones merge into the pattern. For a CS2 craft this means picking a sticker's tone by contrast: a bright accent works better than a neutral one.
Who this wear suits
Buying the Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle in this wear is worth it if:
- you want a pistol with a gray pattern and the caption about a graphic novel;
- price matters more than cleanliness, since Factory New asks about four times the price;
- you take the Deagle for CS2, where both sides can use it.
Inside the 0.15 to 0.38 stretch there are both clean copies and visibly worn ones, so open the float before buying.
