Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale (Factory New)

Factory New (FN) is the cleanest version of the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale. This is the fairy-tale pistol with a princess and unicorns, with a white frame and raspberry edges that carry not a single scuff. It is Classified rank, and it comes from the Operation Broken Fang Case, out of the operation's own collection. The float scale of this finish starts at 0.02.

What the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale looks like in Factory New

The lower part of the pistol is white, while the top of the slide and the muzzle are raspberry, as are the trigger and the bottom of the grip. The slide carries a princess with ginger-red hair, a pink unicorn, flowers in several colors and a castle in the distance. The grip holds a second unicorn, this one with a pink mane. Valve describes the artwork as a princess, unicorns, beautiful flowers and a castle.

In Factory New the white frame stays white, without gray scratches, and the small flowers and the outlines of the figures read sharply. Floats here run from 0.02 to 0.07. On a band that short, chasing a number gets you nothing.

Where the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale came from

On December 3, 2020, Valve announced Operation Broken Fang and shipped the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale in its collection. The announcement came with new challenges, the Retakes mode and an exclusive Premier.

What to check before buying

On a Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale listing, check these parameters:

• the float: the finish has no zero-wear copies, and its lower bound is 0.02;


• the white frame and trigger guard, where scuffs show first;


• stickers on the body of the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale, and a rename if there is one.

Every copy carries the same artwork, so there is no special one to search for.

What the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale costs in Factory New

Priced against Factory New, the lower wears fall as follows:

Only three Classified Five-SeveN finishes exist in this wear: Fall Hazard costs about one and a half times as much, and Fowl Play is about five times cheaper. The Fairy Tale stands in the middle of the row.

Getting the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale

Besides the case, there is the trade-up: the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale comes from exchanging ten skins one step down in the same collection. The collection has three Classified skins, so the odds of landing this pistol are one in three.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were released for the finish, but a Souvenir copy can be put together through the Souvenir-O-Matic if you want one.

Stickers and craft on the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale

The artwork covers the slide and the grip almost entirely, and a sticker over the figures competes with it. The white frame has more room: dark and colored stickers show there, but the raspberry edges are better left uncovered. On a clean pistol a craft looks tidy, because scuffs do not disturb the composition.

Who this wear suits

Factory New is worth buying for the Five-SeveN | Fairy Tale when:

• you want a flawless white pistol for CS2 and for your inventory;


• a craft needs a clean frame with no scratches;


• paying five times as much for the top of the scale does not put you off.

If scuffs are acceptable, Minimal Wear is about five times cheaper.
