Factory New (FN) is the cleanest of the three wears the Galil AR | Green Apple has, and the cheapest of them too. The float band runs from 0.00 to 0.07, and the finish's whole scale stops at 0.30, so Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred do not exist. The rank is Industrial Grade, and the finish belongs to The Train 2025 Collection in CS2. Buying this Galil costs less than any more worn wear of it.
What the Galil AR | Green Apple looks like in Factory New
Acid-green paint lies on metal only: receiver top, dust cover, top rail, rear sight, charging handle, gas block and barrel. Handguard, magazine, pistol grip and stock stay gray factory plastic, and that split is the whole idea of the finish. The green is flat, no gradient and no transitions, and the body carries no artwork, lettering or numbering at all. Valve's text calls the scheme green and black, but the second color on the model is gray.
In Factory New the paint is unbroken everywhere. The raised edges that show wear first are still clean: rail teeth, rear sight ears, charging handle and the ring on the barrel. On a single flat color every scuff reads as a gray dot, so the step to the neighboring wear shows more plainly than on a busy skin.
Where the Galil AR | Green Apple came from
The finish has no outside artist: Valve drew it in house, with no Steam Workshop submission behind it. Valve's catalog numbers it 294. The Train 2025 Collection arrived on March 31, 2025, given a single line in that update's note and no separate announcement. The joke about an apple and insurance premiums sits in the item's own description.
What to check before buying
What separates one Galil AR | Green Apple listing from another:
- the float inside 0.00 to 0.07, a stretch so short that copies at 0.01 and 0.06 look identical;
- other people's stickers and an applied name, which on a skin costing next to nothing easily outvalue it;
- Whether the copy is a normal one or a Souvenir, the latter being a separate position at its own price.
The artwork never varies, so pattern plays no part in the choice.
What the Galil AR | Green Apple costs in Factory New
Of the skin's three wears Factory New is the cheapest:
- Minimal Wear costs about a tenth more;
- Field-Tested close to half again more.
Inside its own rank the picture changes. Eight Industrial Grade Galil finishes carry a price in this wear, and Green Apple is second of them going up: only Galil AR | Acid Dart is cheaper. Galil AR | VariCamo sits right beside it, Galil AR | Cold Fusion is noticeably dearer, and above the whole group stands Galil AR | Urban Rubble.
Getting the Galil AR | Green Apple
No case holds a normal copy. The Train 2025 Collection was handed out for time played and sat in the Armory until Valve removed it on July 8, 2026. Souvenir copies came in Austin 2025 Train packages, handed to viewers of the Austin Major.
A contract will not build a Green Apple: Industrial Grade is the lowest rank in the set, with nothing to feed in beneath it. The Galil works the other way round, as an input toward a Mil-Spec skin of the collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the Galil AR | Green Apple exists; a Souvenir release does.
Stickers and craft on the Galil AR | Green Apple
The base splits in two, which helps: white, black and blue stickers read on the acid-green metal, green ones vanish into it. The gray plastic of handguard and magazine is a neutral field, where any saturated holo works. Edges are clean in this wear, so a craft sits neatly, but expensive stickers make no sense in a gun that costs cents.
Who this wear suits
Buy the Galil AR | Green Apple in Factory New in three cases:
- you want the tidiest look the finish has, without paying extra for it;
- you are assembling a loadout in acid green for the Terrorist side;
- you need a clean, cheap base for CS2 stickers.
One argument against: the paint covers metal only, so in hand the Galil still looks half factory-issue. Anyone expecting a solid green body should look at other finishes.
