Galil AR | Grey Smoke (Factory New)

The Galil AR | Grey Smoke in Factory New (FN) is a graphite-gray Galil for the terrorist side in CS2, with a pattern film untouched by wear. Its rank is Consumer Grade, the skin belongs to The Ascent Collection, and it has no case.

What the Galil AR | Grey Smoke looks like in Factory New

The name promises gray, but on the model the body is dark and warm: gray-brown metal close to graphite. The pattern is built from soft dark stripes and blotches on the receiver and handguard, with weak contrast. The magazine, stock and sights are matte black, while the grip keeps the gray-brown tone of the body.

For this wear the Galil AR | Grey Smoke sits between 0.00 and 0.07. Inside that band the film is intact. The dark stripes do not break off at the edges of the handguard and receiver, and no light metal shows through. A copy's wear was fixed at drop and does not change afterward.

Where the Galil AR | Grey Smoke came from

Valve drew the Galil AR | Grey Smoke; the Steam Workshop has no submission for it. In Valve's catalog the finish is number 1275.

The Galil AR | Grey Smoke appeared on March 31, 2025, when The Ascent Collection was added to the game. Boreal and Radiant came out the same day, and together the three sets gave more than seventy finishes.

What to check before buying

The differences between Galil AR | Grey Smoke listings come from these points:

• float: a listing must lie inside the 0.00 to 0.07 band, or it is no longer Factory New;

• whatever stickers and name tag already sit on this copy of the Galil AR | Grey Smoke.

In this wear the Galil AR | Grey Smoke is a narrow band from 0.00 to 0.07, and copies barely differ from one another.

What the Galil AR | Grey Smoke costs in Factory New

This Galil's price hardly depends on wear. Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost the same as Factory New. There is one exception: Field-Tested costs about two fifths more.

Among the four Consumer Grade Galil ARs, this skin is the cheapest in the clean wear. The other three cost more than eight times as much, and the priciest of them about a hundred and forty times.

Getting the Galil AR | Grey Smoke

The Galil AR | Grey Smoke has never been in a case. Copies are issued as the weekly reward for playtime, and The Ascent Collection stands on its list.

A contract cannot build a Galil, because the collection has nothing below Consumer Grade. It can still go into a trade-up: ten Consumer Grade skins of Ascent give one of nine Industrial Grade skins.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the Galil AR | Grey Smoke was not released. Souvenir copies exist, but no packages were made for this finish, since those were built only for tournament map collections. Such copies are made through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the Galil AR | Grey Smoke

The body is dark and the stock and magazine are black, so light and colored stickers stand out, while black ones merge with the background. The grip is a little lighter than the rest and takes cool shades better than warm ones. Stickers on the handguard and receiver lie over a low-contrast pattern and do not fight with it.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Galil AR | Grey Smoke in Factory New is reasonable if:

• you want a dark Galil for CS2 with no colored accents;

• an untouched film matters, and there is no surcharge for it;

• colored stickers need a dark base.

Four of the five wears cost the same, and Factory New is among them, so the choice here comes down to looks alone.
