Glock-18 | Neo-Noir (Factory New)

In Factory New (FN) the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir sits at the top of the scale for this Covert Glock. The skin is part of The Operation Broken Fang Collection, and the float here stays within seven percent of the scale. A Glock-18 | Neo-Noir can be bought with a float from 0.00 to 0.07.

What the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir looks like in Factory New

The slide is dark, a graphite brown, with small red lettering near the muzzle. The frame is light: a woman's face is drawn on it in black lines, and magenta, purple and light-blue neon spread along the outline. The grip carries concentric light-blue circles with red dots.

Valve calls it a stylized blue-and-purple woman against a black-and-white background. In Factory New the white field is clean, the black outlines are sharp, and the neon colors have not dulled. The clean light frame is the main thing that sets this wear apart from the rest.

What to check before buying

Before taking a Glock-18 | Neo-Noir, check three things:

• the float within the 0.00 to 0.07 band;

• what the previous owner left on the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir: stickers and a name tag;

• the cleanliness of the white background on the frame and the grip.

On the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir the spread of 0.00 to 0.07 is so small that there is no reason to pick by float. The artwork is set rigidly and does not depend on the copy.

What the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir costs in Factory New

The other wears against this one:

• Minimal Wear comes in at more than three times less;

• Field-Tested is about four and a half times cheaper;

• Well-Worn is about five times cheaper;

• Battle-Scarred is cheaper by roughly five and a half times.

Among the eleven Covert Glock-18 skins, this one in Factory New is fourth from the top. Above it are only the Glock-18 | Fully Tuned, a little pricier, the Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler (Emerald) and the Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol. The Glock-18 | Wasteland Rebel is almost a third cheaper. The Glock-18 | Gold Toof and the two Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler skins in Phase 1 and Phase 2 are about a third cheaper or more. The Glock-18 | Bullet Queen is about two fifths cheaper.

Getting the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir

The skin is dropped by the Operation Broken Fang Case. The trade-up route to the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir is ten skins one rank down from the set, with one-in-two odds. The Covert rank of this collection also goes into the glove craft.

The Glock-18 | Neo-Noir appeared on December 3, 2020, when the Operation Broken Fang Collection was added to the game.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Glock-18 | Neo-Noir has a StatTrak version. There were no Souvenir packages for it, because they were made only for tournament map collections. Still, any ordinary copy from your inventory can be turned into a Souvenir through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph.

Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Neo-Noir

The light frame with black lines leaves almost no empty space: a sticker lands directly on the artwork. The dark slide is calmest, with no lines or neon fills. Magenta and light-blue stickers repeat the colors of the skin and dissolve, while white and yellow ones read at once.

Who this wear suits

Factory New is worth buying on a Glock-18 | Neo-Noir if:

• you want clean black-and-white graphics with bright neon colors;

• the skin goes into a collection or a craft where the state of the paint counts;

• a premium of more than three times over Minimal Wear does not stop you.

Wear has no effect on how the pistol handles in CS2, only on how it looks.
