The M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S in Minimal Wear (MW) is nearly unmarked green, and Factory New costs two and a half times as much. Floats in this wear run from 0.07 to 0.15, which is 10% of the skin's scale, and that scale ends at 0.80. It is a Restricted skin and drops from the Revolution Case.

What the M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S looks like in Minimal Wear

Bright green paint with burgundy stripes covers everything from the suppressor to the stock. The top of the receiver and the carry handle reverse the scheme: burgundy with green stripes. The magazine is yellow, with dark hatching and a cartridge window. There is a single scene: a breach above the magazine well with a bone-colored snout inside it, and black claw rips around the edges.

In Minimal Wear only the ribs of the suppressor and handguard are worn, and the pale scrapes there are small. The breach and the yellow magazine look fresh, so the overall impression is closer to Factory New. Across the 0.07 to 0.15 band the look changes little.

Where the M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S came from

The artist is the Steam Workshop creator Sparkwire. Before it reached the game, the submission sat in the Workshop for more than two years. Valve described the Revolution Case as a set of seventeen skins from community artists and called the gloves from the Clutch Case its rare items. The skin's number in Valve's catalog is 1223.

The Revolution Collection was released on February 9, 2023, and the M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S has been part of it since launch.

What to check before buying

Three things are worth a look before you pay:

• the float: at 0.07 a copy is almost factory-fresh, while at 0.15 the scrapes on the ribs stand out more;


• the edges of the magazine and the carry handle;


• any name tag and stickers already applied, which come with the listing.

The M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S has no second artwork to hunt for, and between 0.07 and 0.15 its look holds steady from copy to copy.

The skin drops from the Revolution Case in CS2 and from no other case. A trade-up contract can also produce it: ten skins from the rank below, all from one collection, for example the MP9 | Featherweight or the P250 | Re.built.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S exists. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up as well, but no Souvenir packages were ever issued for it, because those were made only for the map tournament collections. Such copies are made through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S

Saturated green takes black and white stickers well, while green and turquoise ones get lost on it. The stock and the front of the handguard are free of claw marks. For a CS2 build, the one rule is to leave the dinosaur's snout uncovered.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear is a sensible buy for the M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S if:

• you want green with almost no scrapes but would rather not pay the Factory New premium;


• the breach with the snout should be intact, which it is across this band;


• the skin is going into a sticker craft where a clean background matters.

Field-Tested costs almost half as much, and the scene on the skin stays the same.
