The M4A1-S | Mecha Industries in Factory New (FN) is a white Covert M4A1-S on which the orange lines and gray panels are intact. In float terms this wear takes 0.00 to 0.07, which is 9% of the skin's scale up to 0.80. It belongs to the Counter-Terrorist side and to the Gamma Collection.
What the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries looks like in Factory New
The suppressor, receiver and stock are painted white with gray inserts, and the barrel is dark. The orange accents follow the seams: thin lines on the suppressor, a trim on the receiver, bands on the magazine and the stock. That makes the skin resemble panels on equipment more than an illustration.
Small inscriptions and numbers on the suppressor and receiver can be read, and the orange triangle by the stock is the only large mark. Valve describes the body as assembled from panels of hardened ceramic and adds a note about a new technology.
In Factory New the white panels are clean: there is no gray film on the edges of the suppressor, and the orange lines on the raised parts hold their color. On a light skin that is the main thing people pay for.

What to check before buying
What is worth checking in a listing of the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries:
- the float: the wear of the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries fits within 0.00 to 0.07, so listings look alike;
- how clean the white edges of the suppressor and receiver are;
- the name tag and stickers that this M4A1-S | Mecha Industries already carries.
Nothing in the drawing varies between copies of the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries.
What the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries costs in Factory New
Factory New costs more than every other wear, and here is by how much:
- Minimal Wear, about 1.6 times;
- Field-Tested, about 1.7 times;
- Well-Worn, about 1.7 times;
- Battle-Scarred, about 1.75 times.
The four worn wears lie in one band, and Factory New is set apart from them by two thirds.
Among the eleven Covert M4A1-S finishes, this skin costs more than three and less than seven. M4A1-S | Golden Coil and M4A1-S | Cyrex stand close, a tenth higher. M4A1-S | Player Two and M4A1-S | Vaporwave are a quarter cheaper. M4A1-S | Printstream costs twice as much, and the top of the line is a different price class altogether.
Getting the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries
The M4A1-S | Mecha Industries drops from the Gamma Case, and no other case contains this skin. To get it from a contract, you hand in ten skins of the rank below from the same collection. Two Covert skins share the collection, so the odds are even.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries exists. Souvenir packages for this finish were never issued, because they were made only for tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic lays gold tournament stickers and a player autograph over an ordinary skin from the inventory. So individual souvenir copies exist even where no packages ever did.
Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Mecha Industries
A clean white base takes stickers of any color but white and drowns nothing out. The orange inserts pick up stickers in warm shades, while cool ones give contrast. For a craft in CS2 the suppressor and the stock are convenient: the panels are flattest there.
Who this wear suits
The M4A1-S | Mecha Industries is worth buying in Factory New when:
- you want clean white panels with no gray film;
- the Covert M4A1-S for CS2 is going to be looked at up close;
- it matters that the orange lines on the raised parts are intact.
