In Battle-Scarred (BS), the M4A4 | In Living Color is the cheapest of the five wears, but its busy design hides scuffs better than any plain base. The rank is Covert, and the collection is The Snakebite Collection. The float band for the M4A4 | In Living Color is 0.45 to 0.79.
What the M4A4 | In Living Color looks like in Battle-Scarred
The rifle is painted like a comic in neon tones: turquoise, pink, lime green, yellow and purple run together on a light background. The design lies unbroken over the handguard, receiver, magazine and stock, and it is assembled from separate scenes. Cartoon characters and scraps of lettering are visible up close. The barrel and carry handle are dark gray.
On a busy base, scuffs get lost: the receiver edges and the carry handle turn gray first. You can buy the M4A4 | In Living Color in this wear with very different amounts of wear, since the 0.45 to 0.79 band is wide. It takes up 0.34 of the 0.79, about forty-three percent of the skin's scale.
Where the M4A4 | In Living Color came from

In its note of May 4, 2021, Valve called Broken Fang Gloves the rare special items of this case, alongside seventeen community finishes.
What to check before buying
On M4A4 | In Living Color listings, compare these:
- the float: within 0.45 to 0.79, listings differ in how their edges look;
- the gray receiver edges and the carry handle;
- stickers and a name tag that the M4A4 | In Living Color got from a previous owner.
Copies of the M4A4 | In Living Color differ only in wear: the design is shared.
What the M4A4 | In Living Color costs in Battle-Scarred
The other wears cost more than this one, or the same:
- Factory New costs 2.61 times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs 1.35 times as much;
- Field-Tested costs 1.08 times as much;
- Well-Worn costs the same.
The three lowest wears run close together, and the real gap lies between Minimal Wear and Factory New. Among thirteen Covert M4A4s, the skin in Battle-Scarred is cheaper than nine: M4A4 | Desert-Strike, M4A4 | The Battlestar and M4A4 | Temukau cost almost the same. At the top, M4A4 | Bullet Rain, M4A4 | Eye of Horus and M4A4 | Buzz Kill cost four and a half times as much or more.
Getting the M4A4 | In Living Color
The skin drops from the Snakebite Case. A contract for the M4A4 | In Living Color takes ten skins one step below from this collection. Among them are Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration, MP9 | Food Chain and XM1014 | XOXO. The collection has two Covert skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The M4A4 | In Living Color has a StatTrak version. No souvenir packages were released for this finish, but you can build a Souvenir copy yourself through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | In Living Color
A busy collage overrides small graphics, and stickers get lost on it. Large single-color stickers work better, and the place for them is the carry handle or the light trim piece at the muzzle.
Who this wear suits
Battle-Scarred makes sense for the M4A4 | In Living Color if:
- you want a neon M4A4 for CS2 at the lowest price among the skin's wears;
- scuffs on the collage do not bother you, and paying 2.6 times more for Factory New is not justified;
- you pick the float by its number, since the band is wide.
In CS2 play, this wear differs from Well-Worn only in float.
