The Operation Breakout Weapon Case is a standard CS2 case with fourteen skins. Its rare special item pool rests on a single model: the Butterfly Knife.
What's in the Operation Breakout Weapon Case
The fourteen skins divide into five Mil-Spec, four Restricted, three Classified and two Covert. The top rank is taken by P90 | Asiimov and M4A1-S | Cyrex.
Classified rank holds three skins: Desert Eagle | Conspiracy, Five-SeveN | Fowl Play and Glock-18 | Water Elemental. The four Restricted are PP-Bizon | Osiris, CZ75-Auto | Tigris, Nova | Koi and P250 | Supernova. Mil-Spec is represented by SSG 08 | Abyss and UMP-45 | Labyrinth, among others.
Which knives drop from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case
There is only one special-item model here, the Butterfly Knife, but it carries twelve skins: Fade, Slaughter, Case Hardened and nine others. A Butterfly Knife with no skin is in the pool as well.
Skin and wear are random, while the model is known in advance: only the butterfly drops from this case.
Do you need a key
Yes. The Operation Breakout Weapon Case cannot be opened without a key, and keys are sold only inside the game. Since October 2019 they cannot be passed to another account, and they are not traded on marketplaces.
That is why people on LIS-SKINS look for the case itself or for ready-made items from it. If the goal is one particular skin rather than the moment of opening, a ready-made item comes out cheaper.
What the Operation Breakout Weapon Case costs
The Operation Breakout Weapon Case sits in the top quarter of the case price ladder. Closest above is the Huntsman Weapon Case, only slightly dearer, followed by the Winter Offensive Weapon Case (about 1.3 times) and the Glove Case (about 1.4 times).
The Operation Riptide Case is only slightly cheaper than the Breakout, the Operation Broken Fang Case about 1.3 times cheaper, the Chroma Case about 1.7 times cheaper. The CS:GO Weapon Case costs about fifteen times as much.
Who it suits
The Operation Breakout Weapon Case is worth buying if:
- you want a Butterfly Knife and are ready to open the case for it;
- you like P90 | Asiimov and M4A1-S | Cyrex, both from the Covert rank;
- you want a case whose rare special item pool is limited to one model.
