This is the P90 | Asiimov in Factory New (FN). The top wear sits only slightly above the rest: Minimal Wear is 1.21 times cheaper, and the three lowest are 1.3 to 1.35 times cheaper. The rank is Covert, and the skin's case is the Operation Breakout Weapon Case. The float band is 0.00 to 0.07.
What the P90 | Asiimov looks like in Factory New
The body is white, with orange inserts running its full length. An orange top rail with the sight lies along the spine, and orange stripes run down the sides. Near the rear cut come a wide diagonal and a dark wedge beside it. Small black icons and arrows are scattered over the white, and a row of black slanted strokes shows on the rail.
In Factory New the white stays white. There is no gray haze on the large flat of the body, the orange stripes are saturated, and the edges have no light scuffs. On a scheme like this, cleanliness reads at once, because white covers almost the whole body. Wear is set at drop and does not change.
Where the P90 | Asiimov came from
The finish was designed by Coridium, who posted "P90 - ASIIMOV" to the Steam Workshop on December 19, 2013. The author thanks those who had asked for this weapon in the comments on his earlier work. The P90 | Asiimov was released on July 1, 2014, and its Valve catalog number is 359.
What to check before buying
Before paying for the P90 | Asiimov, it helps to check:
- float: the scale gives this wear only 0.00 to 0.07, which is 8% of the skin's scale, so copies look alike;
- whether the P90 | Asiimov carries stickers or a name tag;
- the white flat of the body, which on a factory copy has no gray haze.
Every copy of the P90 | Asiimov carries the same pattern.
What the P90 | Asiimov costs in Factory New
The other wears are cheaper:
- Minimal Wear, 1.21 times cheaper;
- Field-Tested, 1.29 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn, 1.3 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred, 1.35 times cheaper.
The steps between wears are small: from a clean copy to the most worn one, the price drops by only a quarter.
Getting the P90 | Asiimov
The skin comes from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case. For a trade-up into the P90 | Asiimov you assemble ten skins one step down from the same collection. Two skins hold the Covert rank in Breakout, so the P90 is one outcome in two. The step above Covert, the craft, leads to a single model: the Butterfly Knife.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The P90 | Asiimov has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up as well, though no packages were made for it: those were produced only for tournament map collections. Such copies are assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from the inventory.
Stickers and craft on the P90 | Asiimov
On clean white a sticker shows best: the background is even, and nothing competes with its color. Black and blue stickers give the most contrast, while orange ones merge with the inserts. White on white disappears entirely.
Who this wear suits
Buying the P90 | Asiimov in Factory New makes sense on these terms:
- you want a white submachine gun for CS2 with no gray haze on the body;
- a clean base for stickers matters, since a craft reads best on that background;
- you are putting together The Breakout Collection and want the skin in its top wear.
