What the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Black Lotus looks like in Field-Tested

The base is deep blue-violet, nearly indigo. A dense weave of branches and leaves in light-blue lines covers the handguard, receiver and stock, and white flowers show on the handguard and the front of the receiver. One dark orange flower stands on the side of the receiver. The barrel, suppressor and magazine are graphite, the grip is dark gray, and the trigger guard and sling swivel are ringed in pink-copper.

In Field-Tested, wear gathers on the handguard ribs, the receiver corners and the magazine lip: the blue lines dull there and the indigo turns gray. The dense artwork on the flat panels holds out longer, so at a distance the rifle looks almost whole.

Where the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Black Lotus came from

moonfighter filed this finish with the Steam Workshop on September 17, 2023. It is not a new subject but a rework of a familiar series for CS2: the artwork is redrawn and the materials rebuilt for physically based rendering. The idea was that the fresh feel would appeal to players who already know the series.

The Kilowatt Collection was released on February 6, 2024, and the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Black Lotus has been in it from the start. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 1166.

What to check before buying

The regular M4A1-S | Black Lotus without a counter is a separate item with its own page and price, and in Field-Tested it costs a third as much. A StatTrak Souvenir does not exist: souvenir items in the game come without StatTrak.

Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Black Lotus

The artwork takes up almost the whole surface, and small stickers sink into it. White and yellow ones contrast against the indigo, while blue and purple ones merge into the branches. The suppressor and the stock remain the freest zones, and the flower on the receiver should stay uncovered.
