Field-Tested (FT) is the middle of the wear scale for the USP-S | Kill Confirmed: the red body is already scuffed, but the artwork is intact. The float band here is 0.15–0.38. Covert rank, from The Shadow Collection. CS2 has all five wears of the skin.
What the USP-S | Kill Confirmed looks like in Field-Tested
Red is the main color, with dark burgundy blotches added across the frame and slide. The suppressor, dark brown with red, carries a gold-cream ribbon, and a casing is painted where the ribbon starts. At the tail of the slide sits the skull with a glowing orange eye socket. It reads clearly and stays the center of the composition.
Valve describes the artwork as a bullet shattering a skull. The suppressor tip, the trigger and the small controls stay bare. In Field-Tested the wear hits the front edge of the slide and the ribs of the grip. The thin gold lines of the ribbon lose their sharpness, while the big red planes remain solid.
Where the USP-S | Kill Confirmed came from
The author, Nick, describes his idea as the moment right after the hit: the bullet leaves a trail of destruction and chaos behind it. The Shadow Collection opened in September 2015, and the USP-S | Kill Confirmed was in it from day one.
What to check before buying
In a USP-S | Kill Confirmed listing, these parameters are worth checking:
- Float: the 0.15–0.38 band covers 23% of the skin's scale;
- The slide edge and the grip ribs, where scuffs show best;
- Stickers from a previous owner and any rename on the pistol.
The skin has no pattern variants, so there is nothing to choose by pattern. What does need choosing is the float inside 0.15–0.38: the difference between the top and the bottom of the stretch is visible.
What the USP-S | Kill Confirmed costs in Field-Tested
Measured from Field-Tested, the other wears stand like this:
- Factory New costs 3.26 times more;
- Minimal Wear costs 1.43 times more;
- Well-Worn costs 1.25 times less;
- Battle-Scarred costs 1.27 times less.
The price moves little going down and quickly going up: by Factory New it more than triples. Among the four Covert USP-S skins, this one is second by price in this wear. Only the USP-S | Neo-Noir is higher, at about one and a half times as much. Below come the USP-S | Printstream, at almost half the price, and the USP-S | The Traitor, at less than half.
Getting the USP-S | Kill Confirmed
The skin sits in the Shadow Case; no other case has this finish.
The second road to the pistol is a trade-up of ten skins from the rank below, all from the same collection. The result is one of the collection's two Covert skins. Five Covert skins of the collection can also be handed in for a knife craft.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the USP-S | Kill Confirmed exists. Valve never issued souvenir packages with this finish. The Souvenir-O-Matic does let you build a souvenir copy on your own: gold tournament stickers and a player autograph are laid onto a regular skin from your inventory.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Kill Confirmed
The red planes of the frame and grip are large, and a sticker on them reads well if it is light. The suppressor is taken by the ribbon and the casing, and the slide belongs to the skull. Dark stickers get lost on the burgundy blotches.
Who this wear suits
This wear of the USP-S | Kill Confirmed makes sense if:
- you want a Covert USP-S with an intact skull, without paying three times more for Factory New;
- choosing by float matters to you: the band is wide, and the body is cleaner toward the lower edge;
- the pistol is for CS2, where scuffs on the edges are a minor matter.
