★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard, Field-Tested (FT): a light leather pair with a leopard print on the cuff. Extraordinary rank, with the star. There are three sources: the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. The wear scale starts at 0.06, so Factory New remains a thin strip at the very beginning of it.
What the ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard look like in Field-Tested
The main leather is creamy white. Fabric with gray-green leopard rosettes on a light ground covers the back of the cuff. The fingers are perforated, and dark gray inserts sit on their backs. A dark scaly patch shows in the palm. Valve describes the gloves as protecting against the elements while keeping tactile sensitivity.
On light leather any darkening shows sooner than on dark gloves, so look at the finger creases and the edge of the cuff. The float band for this wear on the ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard lies between 0.15 and 0.38. Float and wear are fixed at the drop and do not accumulate over time.
Where the ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard came from
Snow Leopard is one of the finishes in the Operation Broken Fang Case. Valve released the Recoil Case on July 4, 2022. The update note speaks of seventeen weapon finishes by community artists and of the Operation Broken Fang Case gloves as a rare special item. Earlier still, the Snakebite Case included the same set of gloves.
What to check before buying
Before taking a ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard, look at these points:
- in this wear the finish covers a long stretch, 0.15 to 0.38, so comparing several listings is worthwhile;
- the light leather of the fingers and cuff: the state of the creases is visible in the listing screenshot;
- the wear named in the listing: Factory New costs more than eight times as much, and Minimal Wear a little over twice as much.
What the ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard cost in Field-Tested
Among the twenty Driver Gloves finishes with a price in this wear, Snow Leopard is fifth from the top. Four cost more: Crimson Weave, Lunar Weave, Convoy and Diamondback. Diamondback is 1.4 times higher. Below come Wave Chaser, cheaper by almost one and a half times, and Imperial Plaid, cheaper by 1.7 times. The most accessible finish in the model, Racing Green, is cheaper by almost nine times.
Compared with Field-Tested, the other wears come out like this:
- Factory New: more than eight times as much;
- Minimal Wear: a little over twice as much;
- Well-Worn: cheaper by about a seventh;
- Battle-Scarred: cheaper by about a sixth.
Getting the ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard
Three cases carry the finish: the Operation Broken Fang Case, the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. In each it is listed as a rare special item, and the wear comes by chance. Another route is a contract: five Covert skins from one collection turn into one rare special item, with neither the model nor the finish chosen. An exact wear is bought as a ready-made listing.
Who this wear suits
It makes sense to buy the ★ Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard in Field-Tested if:
- you want a light pair for a CS2 loadout where the leather should read against a dark uniform;
- perfectly clean leather is not needed, and Factory New costs more than eight times as much;
- you want a finish from the top quarter of the Driver Gloves lineup, but without the prices of Convoy and Crimson Weave.
