★ Falchion Knife | Bright Water (Field-Tested)

The ★ Falchion Knife | Bright Water in Field-Tested (FT) is a Falchion Knife for CS2 in blue camouflage. It holds the Covert rank, with the ★ mark. The knife drops from the Operation Riptide Case and, since 2022, from the Dreams & Nightmares Case as well. The finish has five wears, and its float runs from 0.00 to 0.50.

What the ★ Falchion Knife | Bright Water looks like in Field-Tested

The base of the blade is a light gray-blue, with patches of mid-blue, dark blue and near-black laid over it. The handle and the side plate are dark blue. Valve describes the finish as blue camouflage applied by hydrography: a film carrying the pattern is transferred onto the whole knife. In Valve's description the Falchion Knife itself is a modern nod to a sword with a curved edge.

The stretch from 0.15 to 0.38 is long on this finish, and copies at the extremes differ visibly. The tip of the blade and the raised ribs of the handle are the first places to show wear.

Where the ★ Falchion Knife | Bright Water came from

Valve introduced Operation Riptide on September 22, 2021, and the Bright Water finish arrived with its case. The second case, from January 21, 2022, was Dreams & Nightmares. The Falchion Knife model is six years older than the finish: Valve brought it in on May 26, 2015, with the Falchion Case.

What to check before buying

Before taking the ★ Falchion Knife | Bright Water, look at these points. There is no choosing it by pattern, since the design is the same on every listing.

• float: the band from 0.15 to 0.38 holds a range of wear, so check the number before paying;

• name tag: text once applied to a knife stays on it for good;

• version: a StatTrak™ listing is sold separately and at a different price.

What the ★ Falchion Knife | Bright Water costs in Field-Tested

Field-Tested is the most affordable wear of this finish. Minimal Wear costs just five percent more, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred about a seventh more, and Factory New almost a quarter more.

Among the Covert Falchion finishes, Bright Water sits in the lower half of the rank. Night and Scorched are level with it, Ultraviolet is slightly more expensive, and Forest DDPAT and Black Laminate are a little cheaper. At the very bottom of the row sit Safari Mesh and Boreal Forest. At the top of the rank are Blue Steel, Case Hardened and Slaughter, and Slaughter costs about three times as much as Bright Water.
