Description

★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 falchion with a gray-steel blade in a wavy Damascus pattern. It is Covert rank, with the ★ mark, and it drops from the Spectrum Case and the Spectrum 2 Case. The finish has five wears, and the float scale stops at 0.50. Field-Tested gets the band from 0.15 to 0.38 for this finish.

What the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel looks like in Field-Tested

A wavy pattern of light and dark veins covers the blade and the handle scales, as on a genuine Damascus blade. The tone is cool and blue-gray, with no colored inserts. The pads at the base of the blade and along the edges of the handle are dark and polished. Valve describes the finish in one line: part of the knife is made of Damascus steel.

In Field-Tested the marks gather at the tip of the blade and along the edge. The wear is fixed at the drop and never changes.

Where the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel came from

The Spectrum Case came out on March 15, 2017, and the Damascus Steel falchion sits among its knives. The second case with this finish is the Spectrum 2 Case.

What to check before buying

Before taking the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel, look at these points:

  • float: from 0.15 to 0.38 the scuffing builds up noticeably;

  • name tag: a falchion accepts one, and it does not disappear after purchase;

  • scuffs on the tip and the edge of the blade, judged from the lot image.

What the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel costs in Field-Tested

Field-Tested is the cheapest wear of the finish, and every other wear costs more. The ladder runs like this:

  • Factory New costs a third more;

  • Minimal Wear a quarter more;

  • Well-Worn a fifth more.

Among Covert falchions the finish sits in the middle of the row: eleven finishes cost less and six cost more. Autotronic is 7 percent higher and Lore 5. Stained is 8 percent lower, Freehand 10 and Urban Masked 14. The top of the row is Blue Steel, Case Hardened and Slaughter.

Getting the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel

The ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel drops from the Spectrum Case and the Spectrum 2 Case, and the wear you receive is random. There is a second route: a contract of five Covert skins from one collection returns a rare special item, but the finish is not yours to pick. A specific copy is bought as a ready lot.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Falchion Knife | Damascus Steel in Field-Tested makes sense in three cases:

  • you want a cool blue-gray blade with a wavy pattern and no bright inserts;

  • your CS2 loadout is built in steel and graphite tones;

  • you want the cheapest wear of the finish, since every other wear costs a fifth more or higher.
