What the ★ Kukri Knife | Fade looks like in Factory New

The kukri blade is wide and curved, with a chrome edge. The color moves in a transition: purple-crimson at the tip, reddening further along, then shifting to orange-gold at the heel and along the lower edge. Valve writes that translucent paints are airbrushed over a chrome base. There are teeth on the spine by the handle. The handle is black ribbed rubber with finger stops.

On this finish Factory New spans 0.00 to 0.07. That is a narrow band, and copies hardly differ from one another.

Where the ★ Kukri Knife | Fade came from

The kukri model appeared in February 2024. In the update notes Valve introduced the Kilowatt Case and presented the kukri knife as a rare special item of that case. The finish's second case, the Gallery Case, came out on October 2, 2024.

Phase and pattern

Fade has no phases or gems, unlike Doppler. What varies is the transition percentage, meaning how much color reaches the tip. The listing title does not state the percentage, so the color layout on the blade is judged from the picture of the particular listing.
