★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter (Factory New)

★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter in Factory New (FN) is a CS2 kukri with a red blade striped like a zebra. It is a Covert-rank knife with the ★ mark, and it drops from the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case. The finish comes in three wears: its float scale runs from 0.01 to 0.26 and ends after Field-Tested, and Factory New takes the band from 0.01 to 0.07.

What the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter looks like in Factory New

The blade is red, with broad, darker red stripes that read like zebra hide, and the edge glints like bare metal. Valve says the stripes are painted in aluminum and chrome of differing reflectivity, with a tomato-red translucent lacquer (candy coat) on top. The handle is dark and ribbed, with finger stops and a ring at the butt.

The scale of this finish starts at 0.01, not 0.00, so no copy has a float of 0.00. In Factory New the lacquer on the edge and the sharp tip is intact, and a copy's wear is set at the moment it drops.

Where the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter came from

Until February 2024 the game had no kukri at all: Valve added the model in the same update as the Kilowatt Case. The Gallery Case, which also carries this finish, came out on October 2, 2024.

What to check before buying

A few points are worth checking before you buy the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter:

• the wear in the listing title: the finish has only three wears, and Minimal Wear is a sixth cheaper than Factory New;

• a name tag: a kukri accepts one, but the knife has no sticker slots;

• the version: a StatTrak knife is listed as a separate item.

A band as short as 0.01 to 0.07 leaves listings with almost nothing to separate them.

What the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter costs in Factory New

Minimal Wear sits a sixth below Factory New, and Field-Tested an eighth below. The 0.01 to 0.07 band is a quarter of the finish's scale: 0.06 out of 0.25.

Among kukri finishes in Factory New, Slaughter ranks sixth from the top of twelve: five above it, six below. Urban Masked costs 15 percent more, Fade and Night Stripe a fifth more, Case Hardened 1.5 times as much, and Crimson Web 3.2 times as much.

Below it are Blue Steel at 4 percent less, Boreal Forest at 12, Scorched at 14, Forest DDPAT at a fifth and Stained at 23. Safari Mesh is two fifths cheaper.

Getting the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter

The ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter drops from the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case, and the wear is random when the case is opened. Crafting takes another road: five Covert skins of one collection trade for a rare special item, and neither model nor finish can be assigned. You buy the exact copy you want as a finished listing.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Kukri Knife | Slaughter in this wear makes sense when:

• you want a striped red kukri with intact lacquer and a glinting edge;

• you want the top of the three wears: the 0.01 to 0.07 band is tight, and there is almost nothing to compare listings on;

• your CS2 loadout is built on red and black, and the dark handle adds contrast to the blade.
