The ★ Moto Gloves | Boom! in Field-Tested (FT) are dark CS2 gloves with a red stripe across the back of the hand. Extraordinary rank, with the star, and they drop from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case. The float scale of the finish runs from 0.06 to 0.80, and Field-Tested is given 0.15 to 0.38.
What the ★ Moto Gloves | Boom! look like in Field-Tested
The material is graphite black, with a dense pattern of thin gray lines that resembles a web of cracks. A single red-pink diagonal stripe crosses the back of the hand. The knuckle plate is black and raised, the cuffs are black, and the fingertips are stitched with a light edging. Valve's description says the pattern is made of comic-book sound effects.
On gloves, wear reads not as scratches on an edge but as scuffed material at the finger creases and on the knuckle plate. In Field-Tested those spots are already touched. Wear is fixed at the drop, and the long 0.15 to 0.38 stretch gives both lightly and visibly scuffed pairs.
What to check before buying
What sets one pair of ★ Moto Gloves | Boom! apart from another:
- float: search by the number rather than by the wear label, because the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide;
- the state of the finger creases and the knuckle plate, which is where the scuffing shows most.
What the ★ Moto Gloves | Boom! cost in Field-Tested
The wears above Field-Tested cost more: Minimal Wear by almost a fifth and Factory New by almost twice. Below it the price drops sharply, with Well-Worn almost three times cheaper and Battle-Scarred more than five times.
Among Moto Gloves this finish stands in the upper third of the row: in this wear only Eclipse, Cool Mint and Spearmint cost more. Eclipse is only slightly higher, Cool Mint by more than a factor of two and Spearmint three and a half times. The nearest below, Blood Pressure, is cheaper by more than four times.
Getting the ★ Moto Gloves | Boom!
The gloves drop from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case, and the wear that comes out is random. Another route is a craft: five Covert skins from one collection give one rare special item, and the game picks the pair and the finish. These exact gloves can be had only as a ready listing.
Who this wear suits
Buying the ★ Moto Gloves | Boom! in Field-Tested is reasonable when:
- you want a dark pair for CS2 with one red accent, seen in your own hands every round and not only on inspection;
- you take a float from the middle of the 0.15 to 0.38 scale and do not need to pay for the clean fabric of Factory New;
- you want something cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New, and the wear at the finger creases does not bother you.
