★ Navaja Knife

The ★ Navaja Knife without a skin is the navaja in CS2 as it comes from the factory: the listing description says the knife is not painted. Its rank is Covert, with the ★ mark. There is no wear, float or pattern, and all copies are identical.

What the ★ Navaja Knife looks like

The blade is small and curved, with a pronounced point. A scroll ornament is engraved on the flat. The steel is pale with a bright polish. The engraving is part of the model and cannot be counted as a skin.

The handle is a curved scale of orange-brown material with white veins, resembling stone, held by two rivets. A steel plate at the pivot carries a screw. The color comes from the scale, and the rest is silvery metal.

How the plain ★ Navaja Knife differs from a skinned one

A navaja with a skin is chosen by wear and float, but here there is nothing to choose from:

• there is no wear, and no float either;


• the pattern is not drawn by lot: the engraving on the blade and the veins on the scale are part of the model and identical on every copy;


• a name tag goes on, and the name stays with the knife;


• no stickers can be applied.

The choice is simple: the regular navaja or the StatTrak one.

What the ★ Navaja Knife costs

Among the navaja's skins, the unpainted knife by starting "from" price sits in the lower part of the row: eight skins cost less and sixteen cost more. The three nearest below it, Scorched, Damascus Steel and Urban Masked, differ from it by a few percent, and Urban Masked is almost level.

Higher up are Ultraviolet and Stained (both a tenth more) and Blue Steel (a seventh more). Doppler tops the row: Sapphire costs almost five times as much as the unpainted navaja, Ruby more than seven times and Black Pearl almost eight.

Is there a StatTrak version

Yes: the ★ StatTrak™ Navaja Knife is a separate listing, and the counter on the knife is not reset. The StatTrak version costs about a fifth more than the regular one.

Getting the ★ Navaja Knife
