★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade (Factory New)

The ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade in Factory New (FN) is a CS2 skeleton knife with a marbled shift from blue through gold to red. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. It drops from the Fever Case. The finish's float tops out at 0.08, which leaves two wears: Factory New and Minimal Wear (MW), where the scale stops.

What the ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade looks like in Factory New

Color runs down the blade in bands: blue and violet at the tip, golden yellow in the middle, red-orange toward the finger ring, and lilac again at the base. A smoky marbled texture lies over the bands. The handle has a black wrap, and red shows through the gaps between the turns. Valve describes the technique as black and silver metallic paint over a marbling base, topped with three colors of transparent lacquer. The finish's flavor text says the blade is built from many colors, but soon everything looks red.

In this wear the ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade has a float of 0.00 to 0.07. The lacquer is whole across the blade, and the tip is the first place wear takes hold. The wear level is set at the drop, so the knife does not change after purchase.

Where the ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade came from

The knife came out with the Fever Case in the Counter-Strike 2 update of March 31, 2025. Valve's release note is a single line with the name of the case.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade, check a few points:

• float: there is little to choose from, because the 0.00 to 0.07 stretch is short;

• name tag: the knife can be named, but it has no sticker slots;

• the listing title: Factory New and Minimal Wear are separate items.

What the ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade costs in Factory New

Minimal Wear costs 1.25 times as much. On a scale that ends at 0.08, the top wear is priced below its neighbor.

Among Skeleton Knife finishes, Marble Fade sits in the lower half of the ladder: out of 23, seven cost less and fifteen cost more. Blue Steel is 17 percent higher and Urban Masked 6, while Stained is 2 lower. Skeleton Knife | Tiger Tooth is a sixth lower, and Forest DDPAT a fifth. Cheapest in this wear are Damascus Steel, Safari Mesh and Boreal Forest. Priciest are Crimson Web and two Doppler gems, Ruby and Black Pearl.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Skeleton Knife | Marble Fade in Factory New makes sense if:

• you want a multicolor skeleton knife, and the gradient matters more than a single paint;

• your CS2 loadout is built in bright tones and the black handle wrap stays neutral;

• you see no reason to pay extra for Minimal Wear, since on a scale ending at 0.08 the two wears look nearly identical.
