★ Survival Knife | Scorched (Field-Tested)

The ★ Survival Knife | Scorched in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 survival knife with a tanto blade and a hook, painted in patches from dark gray to sand. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. With this finish the survival knife drops from the Shattered Web Case and the Fracture Case. All five wears fit on the float scale from 0.06 to 0.80. This wear of the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched is assigned a float of 0.15 to 0.38, which is 31% of the scale.

What the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched looks like in Field-Tested

Valve calls it a multipurpose tactical knife: the serrated edge tears coarse materials such as bone or fiber, and the sharp hook rips things open. The blade has a flat, slanted cut at the tip and a long slot along the spine. The paint lies in broad sun-dappled patches, and from dark gray at the tip the color moves to a light sand toward the handle. The handle is composite, with hex nuts, and is repainted in the same tones.

In Field-Tested, wear marks are noticeable on the nose of the blade and on the nuts. The wear is fixed at the drop, so listings from the edges of the band 0.15 to 0.38 look different.

Where the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched came from

Valve showed the survival knife among the four new knives of Operation Shattered Web on November 19, 2019, next to the paracord knife, the Nomad and the skeleton knife. Back then the model sat in the case of the same name alone.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched, check these points:

• float: the pattern does not change, so listings differ only in wear;

• name on the knife: a name tag is allowed, and there are no stickers;

• edition: a StatTrak copy is listed as a separate product.

A lucky pattern cannot be fished out of the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched: it is always the same. In this wear it comes as the band 0.15 to 0.38, and listings from the edges of that band look different.

What the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 3.53 times as much, and Minimal Wear 4 percent more. Well-Worn costs the same as Field-Tested, and Battle-Scarred is 7 percent cheaper.

Among Covert finishes of the survival knife in this wear, Scorched is ninth from the top by price. Damascus Steel costs a tenth more. Night Stripe, Forest DDPAT and Urban Masked cost the same. Safari Mesh is a ninth cheaper and Boreal Forest a seventh. Slaughter costs more than twice as much.

Getting the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched

The contract is the second route: five Covert skins from one collection give one rare special item, where neither the model nor the finish can be assigned. Scorched is bought as a ready listing.

Is there a StatTrak version

Yes, a StatTrak version of the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested is worth buying for the ★ Survival Knife | Scorched for these reasons:

• you want a survival knife with a hook in gray-sand tones for a CS2 loadout;

• you compare listings by float alone, because the pattern is the same on all of them;

• Factory New costs 3.53 times as much, and marks on the nose of the blade are acceptable.
