What Wallpaper Is in Rust
Lunar New Year Wallpaper Pack is a set of seven wallpapers for Rust. You paper the inside walls of a base with them and turn grey concrete into a themed interior for the lunar new year.
What Is In the Pack
Wallpaper is a fairly recent piece of building cosmetics — before it arrived there was simply no way to change the inside of a base.
It goes on with the Wallpaper Tool, which is crafted from cloth and costs effectively nothing to make.
After that it is straightforward: stand facing a wall, pick a design and apply it. Swapping or stripping the covering is possible at any point.
The designs themselves sit in your Steam inventory like any other Rust paint and are pulled into the game automatically — there is nothing to activate separately.
Why Bother If Wallpaper Does Not Protect Anything
Seven different designs come in this one, so it is a small palette for separate rooms rather than a single pattern for the whole base.
They share a theme: the lunar new year, with festive ornamentation and the red-and-gold palette the holiday is known for.
You can paper everything identically or give each room its own pattern — nothing restricts you, and redoing it later costs nothing either.
Seven variants is considerably more than a single skin offers: what you are buying is a small themed collection rather than one paint job.
It also lets you mark rooms by function — one for crafting, one for storage, one to sleep in, each with its own pattern.
What Happens to Wallpaper After a Wipe
It has no effect on structural strength. Wallpaper will not stop a raid and it does not reduce a single point of damage.
The value is purely visual, and in Rust that lands better than it sounds on paper. A base is where half the wipe is spent: crafting, sorting loot, waiting out the night.
The interior is also seen by anyone you let inside — clanmates, visitors and, on a bad evening, raiders.
There is a small practical side effect too: brighter, higher-contrast designs make rooms easier to read, which helps when a base has grown into a warren of corridors.
What the Pack Costs
The pack lives in your Steam inventory rather than on the server, so a wipe does not touch it.
Papered walls vanish along with the base, which is unavoidable, but the designs themselves are unaffected and the next base gets decorated from the same seven.
That rule covers every Rust skin: the server resets what you built, your Steam inventory follows its own rules.
Where to Buy Lunar New Year Wallpaper Pack
The price is token — a couple of dollars for seven designs at once.
That is less than most weapon paints and roughly level with an ordinary clothing skin, so the barrier to entry is about as low as it gets.
What is being asked right now is shown in the card at the start of the page.
The pack is sold from this LIS-SKINS page: authorise through Steam and pay by card, cryptocurrency or electronic wallet.
Once bought it appears in your Steam inventory, and the designs appear in the wallpaper selection in game.
Selling it back works from the same place, with money withdrawn to a card or a wallet.
The other wallpaper sets and building skins sit nearby in the Rust catalogue, so if the base calls for a different style there is plenty to pick from.
