Brazilian esportsman Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima, now 31 years old, decided to end his playing career and take up coaching. He has played for Argentina's 9z for the past two years and helped them become a big presence on the South American scene.
Before this, BIT built a very productive career, participating in several Brazilian teams: his track record includes TeamOne, Nao Tem Como and g3x. It is noteworthy that he managed to gain a name for himself back in Counter-Strike 1.6. In 2007, he joined MIBR and made a significant contribution to its victories at such events as DreamHack Winter in the same year, GameGune in 2008, as well as two Extreme Masters American Championships.
BIT himself comments on the end of his playing career as follows: “I was happy to lead great Brazilian teams, win national tournaments and make it as far as possible in international events, but this is no longer enough. I want to return to the world's biggest events and win new titles, I want to have the same opportunities that I had at the beginning of my playing career – but now as a coach."
According to a Globo Esporte publication that appeared in January, MIBR is considering BIT as a possible candidate for the coaching position after Alessandro "Apoka" Marcucci will leave this post. Thus, it is possible that BIT will return to the organization with which his journey on the professional stage began more than ten years ago.
