Swedish esports organization Dignitas announced that it is disbanding its CS:GO roster and has no plans to compete in this discipline “in the foreseeable future.” This decision was made about a month after it put its players up for transfer, but at the time its representatives stated that they planned to “assemble a successful roster that will compete for titles.”
Dignitas then planned to form a new roster from players who had previously played for the team in the past. However, it appears that the changes they were considering could not be implemented. As a result, the organization dismissed not only the players, but also other team personnel.
During its existence, Dignitas spent most of its time at the bottom of the top 20, regularly entering significant competitions, but never achieving victory at them. In addition, the team failed to qualify for either PGL Major Stockholm or PGL Major Antwerp, essentially failing in RMR tournaments.
Thus, Patrick “f0rest”, who played for Dignitas Lindbergh will be without a team for the first time in his professional career. He recently competed for fnatic at the Pinnacle Cup Championship, but it is not yet clear which team he will collaborate with next.
