British esports organization Endpoint has announced that it will partner with Republik of Games to create a program for young players to pave the way for them into the professional scene. It will be called Endpoint ROG Academy. In addition, two new divisions will be created – one of them will search for new talents, and the other – organizing competitions for players with different skill levels.
The head of Endpoint ROG Academy will be coach George “Whitey” White. As he plans to train aspiring players to develop their skills to the professional level, he hopes to use his experience as a soccer coach. He hopes to be able to create an environment for up-and-coming eSports players to thrive. White commented on his appointment as follows: “I look forward to putting my heart and soul into this project. I'll keep you posted and showcasing new content every step of the way."
Endpoint will financially support the project and organize the team’s performances at numerous local LAN events, as well as provide training areas. In addition, we plan to regularly talk about new players and share information about their progress.
