ESIC cleared peacemaker of charges of using a "coaching bug"

Brazilian esportsman Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu issued a statement regarding the ESIC's accusations against him of using a type of "coach bug" that allowed him to freely move around the map. Information about such suspicions appeared a few days before PGL Major Antwerp, which is why the Brazilian was banned from participating in the major, as well as in other events controlled by ESIC. The same punishment was imposed on two more coaches – Raphael "zakk" Fernandez and Sergei "hally" Shavaeva.

The peacemaker has now announced that ESIC has dropped the charges against him because it accepted the evidence he provided of his innocence. He also thanked other players for their help in helping him free himself from the charges. This is Patrick "es3tag" Hansen, Neil “NeiL_M” Murphy and Rocas “EspiranTo” Milasauskas, who were participating in the match when the bug appeared. Peacemaker noted that an official announcement on this matter from ESIC can be expected in the near future.

ESIC's previous approach to investigating cases of use of the "coaching bug" has repeatedly drawn criticism from players. In particular, Rafael "zakk" Fernandez spoke negatively about the fact that penalties were imposed after such a long period of time after the completion of the investigation. The peacemaker himself also called new bans for using the bug in the past a “dubious decision.”
