Spanish esports organization x6tence has announced its return to CS:GO with a new roster that will feature young players. This happened two months after they parted ways with the previous lineup, which included Danish esports players. Now the Spanish team has five participants aged 15 to 17 years, and the captain will be twenty-seven-year-old Aitor “SOKER” Fernandez.
The new team was formed as a result of the development of a project created by former Movistar Riders and Tempo Storm players who wanted to gather young players. At the beginning of the year, they held tryouts for several weeks, hoping to find talented eSports players who could replace the older generation of players, since a significant part of its representatives have recently moved to Valorant.
In an interview with Spanish journalist Pete Herrans, SOKER commented on the creation of the new roster: “We founded this project to accept beginner players, compete with them and turn them into professional e-sportsmen. I want these players to become the best in the Spanish scene and I think the other members of x6tence think the same. This is a long-term project, and maybe we are not the best team right now, but we plan to work hard."
