This blog is dedicated to how to buy CS GO stickers and not make a mistake. Let’s say right away that this product is quite specific and is not in such demand as skins or knives. But if you manage to find a collectible item dedicated to some serious or global event like ESL or Eden Arena — save until better times. Take at least the brightest example — EMS Katowice 2014 Challengers. Today, the capsule alone is valued at more than $2000.
Now look what treasures are stored in it.
Why such an introduction? Moreover, the stickers — An excellent investment for those who regularly follow gaming trends, attend major Majors. on CS GO and watches broadcasts on Twitch. If you still don't do this — get involved, because there is nothing easier than making money on exchange rate differences by buying cheap capsules on time, which will be of great value in the future. The process is not quick, you will have to wait a couple of years, while trying to maintain the reputation of the account in pristine condition. But the opportunity to earn several times more than the amount spent is worth it.
Just look at the graph of the regular iBUYPOWER 2014 sticker, which skyrocketed from $400 to $1100 in just 2.5 years.
What is worth investing in
Now we will figure out which CS GO stickers may increase in price in the near future and why this is happening. Let's look at several bright collections, as well as the main contenders, which force many to purchase not only individual stickers, but also entire capsules.
CS20 Collection
This set was timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Counter Strike, because it was then, in 2000, that a little-known mod for the first Half-Life was seen by Valve themselves and saw serious potential in it. As you understand, everything worked out perfectly for them, starting with CS 1.6 and ending with CS:GO in its current form.
Of course, many are chasing a holographic Story about an exotic dragon. At the time of blog publication, its cost is almost $19, but back in early August the price tag was dangerously approaching the $30 mark. Not a bad rise, considering the starting price of $18 per piece.
Next on the list is the sticker “I’m too old” top class. At first glance, it’s an unremarkable sticker, but old fans of the series will probably buy them to feel nostalgic about the old days and version CS 1.6. The price has already risen from the starting $0.15 to $0.24
And in general the pack is limited, so you can’t expect any discounts in the future. Stock up now, otherwise it will become much more expensive later.
ESL One Katowice 2015 Challengers Collection
There are many interesting points associated with this series. Let's start with the fact that not so many players and investors bought capsules with stickers, so the cost of capsules has increased significantly recently. Yes, there are no legendary stickers like iBUYPOWER with a holographic tiger, but there are also plenty of worthy candidates.
And considering that the average cost of a capsule today is estimated at more than $500, special attention is paid to it.
Let's start with the famous holographic Titan. For a long time it was quietly offered for $200 with periodic price correlation, but from June 1 to August 10, 2020, the price jumped to $675 per unit. Now they are stabilizing again, but we can hardly expect a strong decline.
A similar situation is with Titan in metal. It doesn’t have such crazy dynamics, but if a couple of years ago you could buy it for $50, today, be so good as to pay all $360, and the chart doesn’t even think about sagging.
But the strongest leap was made by Vox Eminor holographic — crazy $1150 for what cost $450 at the beginning of June 2020, and in December 2018 — only $75.
Katowice 2019
In this category we decided to include Katowice 2019 Minor Challengers, Katowice 2019 Legends and Katowice 2019 Returning Challengers, because the hype around these capsules is now serious. You could also add autograph packs, but they are not so highly valued in the short term. But it's worth trying at random.
These packages were also bought rather sluggishly; many investors were simply not interested in them, especially against the backdrop of the cool stickers of 2014. But nothing stops you from stocking up on a couple of capsules or already opened stickers if you know which CS GO stickers will become more expensive in the future. Remember that the series is limited — there will be no new arrivals.
Of Return, the most valued is, naturally, Cloud9, whose price has soared from $8 to $52 since the beginning of 2019, although it is now slowly dropping to $35. Apparently, one of the investors nevertheless poured in a good amount of funds in order to somehow stabilize the exchange rate.
I must say that the metal Tyloo is also showing excellent growth, gaining from $15 to $45 in a couple of months.
Legend-pack is significant for many eminent representatives of CS GO. First of all, this is Natus Vincere in metal, accelerated from $11 to $35 over the last 4 months of trading
The metallic Astralis, which has shown a similar increase in popularity, is breathing at its back.
Well, the leader in Minor Challangers is, of course, the holographic Furia, which many probably associate with the expensive iBUYPOWER 2014 sticker. What today costs more than $70, just a couple of months ago it was 2 times cheaper, and in April 2019 it was even trading at $7 apiece.
Shattered Web
Well, I would like to finish with stickers from the “Broken Network” collection. You probably already know that most of the stickers from this series have a double bottom and are significantly transformed if you rub them a little in your inventory. The main thing — Don’t overdo it and don’t rip off too much. Their value is determined by two parameters:
-
limited quantities on trading platforms;
-
The imminent release of the new Source 2 engine, which will further reveal the beauty of holography.
For example, the Gold Web sticker is already selling for $8 apiece, although last year the average price barely reached $3.5 for the holo version.
The second obvious candidate — Web Stuck in holographic version. In a year and a half, it went from $0.3 to $1.4, which is a 4-fold increase. And imagine if you have a couple of dozen, or even hundreds of them.
Is the investment worth the time and money? Think for yourself. An important global update is coming with a lot of new graphical improvements that will reveal the beauty of stickers and skins from a new perspective. Data miners have already found initial information about the new Source 2 engine, and it will be a gun.
And remember that you should not exchange with third parties who are trying in every possible way to redirect you outside the Steam and Lis-Skins.com trading platforms. The integrity of the account is much more important than the imaginary desire to save money.
