One of Gen.G's players spoke about plans to play in Europe

At the end of 2020, American esports organization Gen.G decided to review its CS:GO roster and gave the players and coach currently on its roster the opportunity to consider various transfer options. One of the team members, Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand recently gave an interview to HLTV, talking about the difficulties the team had to overcome during the 2020 season. This year was the first for the Indonesian player spent in North America and allowed him to significantly enrich his experience, despite the fact that the cancellation of most LAN events was some disappointment.

The beginning of the year was quite successful for the team. In particular, she managed to win the DreamHack Open Anaheim – the first major LAN match for this roster. But Gen.G failed to maintain this level in the future. BnTeT believes there are several reasons for this – including the fact that players were unable to fully adapt to online matches. Two members decided to leave the team and move to Valorant.

Now, having the opportunity to move to another team, Hansel plans to compete in Europe, since that is where the top eSports players currently play. He mentioned that he has already received several interesting offers from European teams. Perhaps BnTeT would have considered staying in Gen.G if the team had managed to find the missing players, but by the end of 2020, attempts to assemble a full roster were unsuccessful.
